Windows Download and Installation

Note for users of Windows Vista: The instructions below are the same for Windows Vista, but instead of double-clicking, you should right click and then choose Run as Administrator. You will then be asked to confirm this by clicking Allow on the User Account Control screen.

Downloading and Installation

Click the icon above to download the VZones installer program. Save the program to your desktop.

When the download is complete minimize your browser and locate the installer program on your desktop. It will look like the icon above. Double-click the icon (or right click and choose Run as Administrator if using Windows Vista) to install the program.

Running the program

Once the install has completed, you can choose to run the program right away. To start the program at a later time, just double-click the VZones Login icon (or right-click and choose Run as Administrator if using Windows Vista) The icon looks just like the installer icon, but has the name VZones Login.

When you start the program the first thing you will see is the login console. Select the world you want to enter from the top drop down box labelled Choose your VZone. In the text box labelled Enter your User ID enter your account name (this may not be the same as your avatar name.) In the Enter your Password text box enter your password. You can check the Remember my Password box if you want the Login Console to remember your password. When you have filled out all of the above click Enter.

On the next page choose the avatar you want to log in and click Enter. The VZones client program will now open and you will be inworld.
